Mastering Mindfulness™ — 2026 Cohort Waitlist

Have you ever had a moment where you can go all day eating “good” and feeling in control…

and then something just… shifts?

Out of nowhere you start thinking about food.
You feel like you want something... or need something.

And even though you're not hungry, it feels like something inside of you is pulling you toward food.

But that part of you that just felt calm and under control, just disappeared.

You might think, "Why did I do that? I was doing so good..."

If this feels like you, it can be really confusing and frustrating.

That was my experience for years.

Gina Worful, MS, RD

Founder of Mastering Mindfulness Institute

Every morning, I’d wake up and think,

“Today is the day. I’m doing it this time.”

I'd have a plan for everything I was going to eat that day.

And I could hold it together for a while.

But at some point in the day… something would shift.

I'd starting thinking about having a snack.

But I also knew I wasn't hungry and shouldn't have one.

This back and forth with food consumed my mind and energy every day.

I couldn't see why it was hard, even for a dietitian.

Even though I had the nutrition knowledge and the perfect food plans...

none of that helped the fight that was going on inside me.

Deep inside my mind, I had to face my fear... "What if I never get out of this?"

Facing that fear made me realize that my calorie counting, food tracking, and restrictive plans weren't working.

It was that honest realization that forced me to change what I was doing.

Instead of focusing on food, I started focusing on me.

I started noticing things I hadn't before.

On days I felt overwhelmed, that's when I'd want to eat fast to feel relief.

And days I felt so exhausted, I'd crave sugar to pick up my energy.

And nights I felt lonely, a few snacks in bed helped me feel the comfort I was craving.

Food wasn't the problem.

It was the way I was trying to take care of myself… without even realizing it.

And instead of trying to control it…

I started learning how to actually listen.

To my body.
To my emotions.
To what I needed underneath it all.

Not to fix it, just to understand it.

As I learned to feel what my body needed, rather than override it...

everything began to change.

I could be around food without that pull taking over.

There was no more constant back-and-forth in my mind.

I didn’t have to rely on rules to make good choices.

And for the first time…

I could enjoy foods I used to feel out of control around,

without it spiraling.

Over time, my body settled into a healthy place.

I didn't need to do extreme food plans or exercise programs anymore...

I just needed to pay attention to my body and listen to what it needed.

What I discovered changed everything, and it became the foundation of Mastering Mindfulness™.

It’s about learning how to understand yourself on a deeper level…

so your choices start to come from clarity, connection, and self-trust.

In this experience, you're guided into a deeper connection with yourself and your own body.

You'll be guided into...

– understanding what’s actually driving your cravings and how to calm them
– feel and respond to your body’s signals
– make food choices that feel aligned with your desires and values, not forced through restriction

If you’re reading this and thinking,

“that’s exactly what happens to me…"

Here’s what students have experienced through this work…

For many, this becomes more than just changing how they eat. It’s the thing that finally clicks.

The same moments that used to feel confusing with food… don’t feel confusing anymore.

The pull toward food doesn’t take over.

Instead of losing themselves in those moments... they stay with themselves.

They understand what’s happening. They know how to respond.
They don’t spiral. They don’t start over.

They feel steady. Connected to their body. Clear in their choices.

And for the first time…they’re on their own side.

Not because they forced themselves to follow a restrictive plan…

because they no longer need one.

They begin to see something they couldn’t see before.

That they were never broken. Never lacking control.
Never defined by those patterns.

They just didn’t know how to understand themselves in those moments.

And as that shifts, the voice in their head begins to change too.

From “What’s wrong with you?”
to “What do you need right now?”

It grows a quiet, steady feeling of self trust.

What seems like a journey with food…is actually a deeper discovery of yourself.
